The name is Risto Puolakainen and I would describe myself as a typical nerd. I have technical background with +3 years professional web development experience. I studied embedded software in Turku University of Applied Sciences. My biggest technical enthusiasm lies in the Linux and Foss world, and my free time usually includes computers, lots of cats and of course my lovely girlfriend.

Anders was an easy decision for me, it simply seemed like the best choice from all the competitors. The best recruitment videos definitely had something to do with it, while development practices and company mentality really shone through in the interview.

Risto started his career at Anders in an unusual way by taking part of the Anders 10th year anniversary trip to Gdansk, before working even a single day.

It was a high-risk high-reward situation. Lots of fun, everything went well and nothing bad happened. It was a pleasure to get to know all the colleagues this way and really easy to come to the office first day!

I am Jukka Riihimäki, soon to be ICT engineer in University of Applied Sciences. Currently I’m living in the center of Turku with my girlfriend and two cats.

Software development with TypeScript and Python in customer projects. I have learned a lot since I started here and I am grateful to work with super talented colleagues.

I was looking for new place to work somewhere in Turku and remembered Anders because I attended Python workshop hosted by Anders. It gave me very good first impression and seemed they have great atmosphere.

Also I saw the recruitment video which was awesome. Best things here are interesting projects and great office location right in the center of Turku.
