Anders is eager to participate to the most delightful business festival: SHIFT 2018! We are celebrating our 10 years old company and having a birthday party in our booth.

SHIFT is an innovative business festival that gathers over 4000 attendees from around the world to Turku every year. This year the Shift will be held in abandoded prison Kakolan Lääni 22th -23rd May that surely provides an unique venue and place to enjoy the summer inside or outside depending on the famous Finnish wheather.

You can’t put a finger on SHIFT. The atmosphere is unique and the venue is different from all other festivals. SHIFT is something that you get when you mix weird with wow.

SHIFT is organised by a non-profit organization with the purpose of shaping breakthrough technology to be responsible and sustainable. The theme in year 2018 is redefining normal and the festival brings forth visionaries of artificial intelligence, algorithmic decision making, emotional AI, space, cybersecurity and neurotech for an open dialogue around ethics, impact and future development. The festival wants to both challenge and encourage you to change the way you see the world and your everyday life and work.

Our Managing Director Mikko have been participating every year in SHIFT and this time Anders wanted to strength the participation even further. Mikko states that the festival is an Anders-lookalike and shares the same values than Anders – as being innovative, future-oriented and renewable just to name few. In addition, Anders was founded in Turku so the company respects local activity. One valuable asset for the event is of course the huge group of volunteers who give a great effort to the arrangements and enable smooth event.

This type of business event is just the thing that we need in the Turku area. Networking with other companies isn’t a strength to a Finnish company and the SHIFT provides the perfect place to enhance business relationships as well as to improve company brand. We are looking forward to meet new people as well as connect with the old ones and enjoying the interesting keynotes.
