Pekka assured Anders of his extensive experience in digital services and his ability to understand business processes and structures, both for customers and Anders.
Anders’ team of experts expanded in August when we recruited a new professional. Pekka Pulkkinen started in August in the role of Business Development Director, and autumn has started off fast. Pekka assured Anders of his extensive experience in digital services and his ability to understand business processes and structures, both for customers and Anders.
Pekka once started his career at the “big blue”, that is, IBM. Since that, he has worked in international IT and consulting houses of various sizes, all of which have been linked by the development of digital services. In addition to education in Economics, the projects from leading client companies in their fields have built a broad understanding of modern ways to build a customer-driven digital business.
I am originally from Kouvola, and from there, after a few bends, settled 15 years ago in Helsinki. In my spare time I like to exercise a lot: I do biking, and play games such as tennis, golf and hockey. Alpine skiing has been my number one sport for decades and I continue to do it whenever possible. I also have two daughters who keep me active.

What’s on Pekka’s working day?
I am constantly striving to develop my understanding of the benefits of digital capabilities in achieving business goals. What makes me particularly happy at the customer interface are the concrete achvievements of successful implementations according to common goals.
Pekka brings Anders solid customer as well as industry understanding and a consultative sales approach. Therefore, Pekka is also involved in internal development and brings his expertise to the service development of Anders. The learnings from the processes of larger organizations and service delivery are valuable as we work together to create a strong foundation for Anders’ growth story.
I am looking forward to starting active collaboration with existing and new clients and putting the plans into practice!
