Anders is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. For celebrating it properly, we traveled to Gdansk for a long weekend with the whole staff. The trip was a success and fostered our organisational culture even further!

Anders earned the trip!
The autumn has been very active for us, we have had five new members to Anders family within a few weeks! Our projects have been successful and our order backlog is record-breaking. Other positive things this autumn have been lively cooperations with Turku University as well as Turku University of Applied Sciences, we have been organizing Django workshops for students. We are also participating in Mimmit koodaa -campaign that encourages more women to the world of programming. Anders will host altogether four pro bono workshops for ladies in November.
Gdansk trip was the perfect getaway from autumnal Finland and the city turned out to be a great place to spend the weekend. Gladly we managed to get our new cool Anders clothes on time!

Reini and Tolonen excited at the Turku airport.

Every evening we enjoyed dinner together. The first night we visited a Polish restaurant, that had vodka selection of over 150… Igor and Mingfeng are having an interesting talk.

Mikko, Tuomas and Jere anxiously waiting for food.

Juha testing potato vodka.

The founder of Anders, Tomi Alapaattikoski, is giving a speech.

Cheers!

Pauliina drinking coffee for a change.

Johanna and Tomi posing nicely but Riku photobombing.

This shot was like a cocktail – but small! Paul is happy!

We found the only Absinthe bar at Gdansk – naturally.

We had the most beautiful weather!

The second evening we booked the whole pizzeria for Anders and still barely fit in.

When pizza is life…

Gdansk’s Old Town and the boys.
