Java Upload / Download Speed Test

I just wrote a Java Applet and backend server application to test the upload and download capacity of Internet connections through a web browser. The code is used on Bandwidth.com's fairly popular Speed Test. If you have Java support in your browser, give it a try. (you will need to make sure the Java test is selected in the pull-down) With successful tests numbering in the millions, Bandwidth.com's JavaScript Download Speed Test is one of the most popular on the Internet.
